International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking – 26 June

Glory Public School Observes International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking Glory Public School observed the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 26 June with a commitment to promoting awareness, responsibility, and healthy living among students. The observance aimed to educate young minds about the harmful effects of drug abuse while reinforcing the importance of making informed and responsible life choices. Drug abuse remains a significant global concern, affecting individuals, families, and communities. Recognizing the vital role educational institutions play in prevention, the school organized an awareness initiative to encourage students to understand the consequences of substance abuse and the value of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The awareness campaign focused on the theme of choosing a life built on health, discipline, and positive values. Students were encouraged to: Develop awareness about the physical, emotional, and social consequences of drug abuse. Build confidence to resist negative influences and peer pressure. Adopt healthy habits through education, sports, and constructive activities. Support a safe, respectful, and drug-free school environment. The campaign also highlighted that prevention begins with awareness and informed decision-making. Through guidance and value-based education, students were reminded that every positive choice contributes to personal growth and the well-being of society. At Glory Public School, we believe that education extends beyond academics. By nurturing character, promoting healthy lifestyles, and instilling strong moral values, we strive to prepare students to become responsible citizens who contribute positively to their communities. As part of our ongoing commitment to student welfare, the school continues to organize awareness programmes that inspire young learners to lead healthy, balanced, and drug-free lives. "Choose Life.
